I would say I’m a pretty ordinary 20-something—now pushing 30—guy in Houston. I’m about to get married and have a baby on the way. My fiancé and I live in a decent apartment with our dogs Flip & Bella and spend as much free time as we can with friends and family.

New Digs
My wife and I recently moved into a new house with a yard for the dogs and more space for us and the new baby. As we consolidate our stuff we’re figuring out what to get rid of and what to keep. We have so much to put away and so much to get in order before the baby while in the middle of a hot Houston summer. But from my new place, I’m now 10 minutes closer to the gym. I’m still following a regimen with cardio (treadmill or elliptical) and weights, mixing it up on different days. The gym has been all right, although I have not seen too much change over the past several weeks, which is probably due to everything going on right now.
My diet has not been spot on with all the festivities and such. I have been going 2-3 days a week, and that’s about the same as when I started. It’s a bit harder only because I have more on my plate in the game of life. I have not seen a difference physically, but I feel like I’m in better shape.
