Dead Weights
I bought 2 pound ankle weights at a sporting goods store and started putting them on when I run on the treadmill. The first time I used them it felt like I was carrying my brother. My legs were like lead, and I just felt drained and soaked with sweat. But after working so hard, I felt great and had no cramping.
