Getting Started
I’ve been going to the gym about 3 days a week for an hour. I do a lot of light weights, crunches, leg presses, chest presses, work on the hip abductor (works butt) and hip adductor (works inner thigh) machines, and run on the treadmill for 1 to 3 miles.
I’ve lost 5 pounds so far, and I’m starting to tone up some. My significant other is even taking notice: The other day he mumbled something about JLo and how things “looked nice in that area…not that they didn’t before,” he quickly added.
I have noticed a significant improvement in my legs, bottom, arms, and back. I haven’t completely gotten rid of the “wings” under my arms, but they do look much better. My trouble spot is my stomach, so I have to work harder to see any marked improvement there. My trainer, Malry Reed at 24 Hour Fitness Post Oak Super-Sport is going to structure my workouts to target my stomach.
