After earning a law degree from South Texas College of Law and taking the Texas bar exam in February, my next step is to interview for the U.S. Marshals Service or FBI, if I can pass the fitness tests.

The Ultimate Test

I passed the Texas bar exam!

My friend had to call and tell me because I was afraid to know and didn’t check the results. I’m so excited and relieved. I was sworn in by a judge, and I’m still working part time while I submit my resume to federal agencies and the District Attorney’s office in Texas. I really want to work for the F.B.I or U.S. Marshals, but the hiring process is long, so I’ll probably work for a firm for the next 6 months during the application process.

I’m now going to the gym every other day. I started out going 6 days in a row, and after my workouts it would feel hit by a ton of bricks. I realized that I need more of a gradual build up and should give my body some time to rest.
